“Support to the modernization of the system for post-secondary education”

The overall objective of the Twinning Light project is to support the development of human resources through modernising the education and training system, with special focus on post-secondary education. The activities are aimed at supporting the reform process of post-secondary education. This covers updating the strategic documents and relevant legislation in the field, including its institutional and organizational set up. The project is divided in 4 components that will lead to achievement of 6 results:

Component 1

Building a comprehensive evidence-based  policy documents including  legislation

1. Analysis of the post-secondary education sector with recommendations for future interventions on the improvement and delivery in the sector prepared and best European practices compatible to the national context identified.

2. Concept for post-secondary education revised and updated and the existing legislative framework and bylaws concerning post-secondary education revised.

Component 2

Harmonising reforms with the National Qualifications Framework

3. Procedures which will enable harmonisation of the post-secondary education with the National Qualifications Framework.
Component 3

Strengthening the link between post-secondary education and the labour market

4. Initial assessment of the educational needs within post-secondary education according to labour market demands regarding the specificity of a selection of priority occupations prepared.

5. Guideline for development of teaching curricula for post-secondary education in cooperation with the private sector and social partners developed.

Component 4

Supporting stakeholders’ awareness and involvement in post-secondary education

6. Promoted post-secondary education and awareness raised among parents, pupils, employers and wider public.
