“Support to the Employment of Young People”

The overall objective of the project “Support to the Employment of Young People” is to integrate young people on the labour market.

The specific objective is to increase employment opportunities for young people up to the age of 29 by increasing their working experience, employability and support for (self) employment.

Target group: Young people up to the age of 29 that are registered as active job-seekers within ESARM.

The Project consists of the following components:

COMPONENT A: INTERNSHIP PROGRAME

The objective is to improve the employment perspectives of young people, while reflecting the current labour market needs. More specifically, unemployed persons up to the age of 29 will be involved in the internship programme for the purpose of acquiring first working experience.

The target groups are unemployed people who are:

  • up to the age of 29;
  • with no prior registered relevant working experience according to their education;
  • registered as active job-seekers within ESARM.

COMPONENT B: TRAINING FOR SKILLS DEMANDED ON THE LABOUR MARKET

The objective of this component is to train young unemployed people for professional skills demanded on the labour market. The trainings will be carried out in a period of up to four months and will include theoretical and practical training.

Target groups are unemployed people who meet the following criteria:

  • young unemployed persons up to age of 29;
  • registered as active job-seekers within ESARM.

COMPONENT B: TRAINING FOR ADVANCED IT SKILLS

The objective is to upgrade the IT skills of registered active young jobseekers with adequate educational background in order to increase their competitiveness on the labour market.

The trainings for IT programming will be implemented in a period of up to six months.

Target groups are unemployed people who meet the following criteria:

  • adequate educational background, relevant on the type of course;
  • young unemployed persons up to age of 29;
  • registered as active job-seekers within ESARM.

Component C: TRAINING AND COUNSELLING FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The objective is to create new employment opportunities for the unemployed people through training and counselling for entrepreneurship and business management.

The participants will undergo training and counselling for up to 45 hours of training, that will include theoretical part (learning about entrepreneurship and business management) and counselling for developing business plan.

Target group are young people up to age of 29 registered as active job seekers, with minimum secondary education.

Component D: TRAINING IN JOB SEARCH AND PREPAREDNESS SKILLS

The objective is to prepare unemployed people for job and to enhance the skills for job searching in order to be integrated on the labour market. Different employment services and measures will be offered for the tree categories of unemployed persons: Directly employable people, unemployed people with moderate difficulties and unemployed people with significant difficulties.

Target group:

– Unemployed young people up to age of29.

– Unemployed young people registered as active job seekers within ESARM.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

COMPONENT A: INTERNSHIP PROGRAME

Expected result: Improved employment perspectives for 1000 young unemployed people.

COMPONENT B: TRAINING FOR SKILLS DEMANDED ON THE LABOUR MARKET

Expected result: 220 unemployed people have participated in trainings for work skills demanded in the labour market

COMPONENT B: TRAINING FOR ADVANCED IT SKILLS

Expected result: 220 unemployed people have participated in trainings for work skills demanded in the labour market.

COMPONENT C: TRAINING FOR SKILLS DEMANDED ON THE LABOUR MARKET

Expected result:950 unemployed persons interested to start their own business trained for entrepreneurship and business management as well as for business plan.

COMPONENT D: TRAINING FOR SKILLS DEMANDED ON THE LABOUR MARKET

Expected result:  1400 unemployed persons included in Training in job search and preparedness skills.
