The Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF), together with the Microcredit Foundation Horizonti, Association KXAM from Delchevo and Association Mesechina from Gostivar, held a closing event for the project “Enhance Roma Woman’s Participation on Labour Market”, on 12 June 2017, in hotel Green Centre Hilton in Gostivar.

At the event, there were presented the results of a project aimed for Roma women and women from other ethnic minorities from Eastern and Western region, as well the city of Skopje. Alongside, a part of women’s experiences were presented through a video clip, involved in the activities for improvement of their work skills and capabilities.

As well, the publications prepared were promoted aimed for support and advices for employment, housing, legal and health support of marginalized groups.

The project, implemented in the period from December 2015 till June 2017, aimed to contribute towards greater involvement of Roma women and women from ethnic minorities at labour market through improvement of working skills and (self)employment.
